Dr. Heather Eggenberger
Dr. Heather Eggenberger grew up in Marysville, WA and attended the University of Washington for her college education. She received her bachelor of science degree in Neurobiology and chose to follow in her father’s footsteps by becoming a dentist. Dr. Eggenberger was pleased to accept the offer to attend UW School of Dentistry after comparing it to many other programs. She received her doctorate in 2008, graduating at the top of her class, and received numerous awards by the faculty upon graduation.
To gain additional training beyond dental school, Dr. Eggenberger completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with the Veterans Affairs in San Antonio, Texas. This highly respected program is ranked in the top tier of such programs and has an emphasis in implant dentistry and complex reconstruction. In addition, she was mentored by specialists in all fields of dentistry.
Dr. Eggenberger has a strong belief that learning is a life-long commitment and she remains active in continuing education and dental study clubs. She especially focuses on remaining up-to-date with the latest product recommendations, materials, and techniques in dentistry. It is important to Dr. Eggenberger that she is providing the best care possible to her patients and that they have a comfortable experience.
Dr. Eggenberger and her husband, Jon, have a little boy and a baby girl which makes life so fun! In their spare time, the Eggenbergers love to be outdoors. Their hobbies include camping, hiking, skiing, and playing volleyball. They especially enjoy spending time with their friends and family.
Dr. Katherine Timlin
Developed a passion for dentistry in 2003 when she began volunteering and then working as a dental assistant in her hometown of Chicago. She has always had a passion for service and outreach in her community. In dental school she was recognized for developing dental days at local programs for at risk youth and gave time to mentor prospective dental students. Upon graduation, she mentored dental students at University of Texas-San Antonio, and regularly volunteered at a local free clinic. Her favorite part of dentistry is developing relationships with her office and team to better serve her patients through improved speech, eating and confidence that can all be impacted by your smile.
Dr. Timlin studied in New York City and Phoenix. She completed dental school at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Timlin has spent the last three years in family practice and emergency dentistry in Texas and pursing hundreds of hours of additional continuing education in sedation, invisalign, wisdom teeth removal, root canal treatments, and night guards in order to better serve her patients. She is excited to join the team at Colby Family Dentistry and move closer to her family in north Idaho.
