Dr. Heather Eggenberger

Dr. Heather Eggenberger grew up in Marysville, WA and attended the University of Washington for her college education. She received her bachelor of science degree in Neurobiology and chose to follow in her father’s footsteps by becoming a dentist. Dr. Eggenberger was pleased to accept the offer to attend UW School of Dentistry after comparing it to many other programs. She received her doctorate in 2008, graduating at the top of her class, and received numerous awards by the faculty upon graduation.

To gain additional training beyond dental school, Dr. Eggenberger completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with the Veterans Affairs in San Antonio, Texas. This highly respected program is ranked in the top tier of such programs and has an emphasis in implant dentistry and complex reconstruction.  In addition, she was mentored by specialists in all fields of dentistry.

Dr. Eggenberger has a strong belief that learning is a life-long commitment and she remains active in continuing education and dental study clubs. She especially focuses on remaining up-to-date with the latest product recommendations, materials, and techniques in dentistry. It is important to Dr. Eggenberger that she is providing the best care possible to her patients and that they have a comfortable experience.

Dr. Eggenberger and her husband, Jon, have a little boy and girl which makes life so fun! In their spare time, the Eggenbergers love to be outdoors. Their hobbies include camping, hiking, skiing, and playing volleyball. They especially enjoy spending time with their friends and family.

Dr. Lee Zamos

Dr. Lee Zamos originally from Auburn Twp., OH grew up as the youngest of 5 boys in his family. Prior to dental school, Dr. Zamos earned a B.A. in Zoology from Miami University where he also played Varsity Football. He then attended the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry, earning his DMD in 2015. While a student Dr. Zamos was published in dental ethics journals and won national accolades for his clinical research on dental implants.

Upon graduation Dr. Zamos pursued advanced training in hospital dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency with the University of Washington. During residency Dr. Zamos gained experience in oral surgery, emergency dentistry, root canals, pediatric dentistry, clinical pathology, dental implants, as well as the safe treatment of medically compromised patients.

Following residency Dr. Zamos spent three years working as a dentist for the Tulalip Tribes of Washington where he gained tremendous clinical experience and a deep respect for the Indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Zamos brings a commitment to excellence, patient education, and compassionate care to his practice. He is an active supporter of the American Dental Association and its local components, as well as an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Zamos is a big believer in continuous lifelong learning in dentistry and commits to hundreds of hours of continuing education every year.

Away from Dentistry Dr. Zamos enjoys spending time with his wife Katie, traveling, mountaineering, playing basketball and spending time on or in the water.
